Chargeman/ Apprentices/Engineer recruitment in Kerala Shipping & Inland Navigation Corporation Ltd (Contract basis)
Chargeman ( Electrical)/ No of vacancies: 1
Educational qualification: Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
Experience: Minimum one or two years experience in ship yards, marine workshops, onboard marine vessels etc
Scale of Pay: Rs.13210 -22360. Total pay at the minimum of the scale is Rs. 28699/- per month
Age: Not exceeding 35 years.
Selection Process: After screening and shortlisting, the candidates will be subjected to written test , practical test, interview or a combination thereof as decided by the company.
1st Class Master ( for RO-RO service)/ No of vacancies:5
Qualification: Higher pay will be considered in deserving cases, commensurate with qualification and experience
Educational qualification and Experience: possession of 1stClass Masters Certificate issued under the Kerala Inland Vessels Rules 2010. Must have experience in operating vessels fiitted with diagonal azimuth propulsion thrusters. Copy of experience certificates in proof of this must be submitted with the application
Candidates who did not have experience in operating azimuth propulsion vessels need not apply
Age: No upper age limit.
Pay Scale : Rs. 30000
Engine Driver / Engineer ( for RO-RO service)/ No of vacancies: 5
Qualification: Higher pay will be considered in deserving cases, commensurate with qualification and experience
Educational qualifications and Experience: Possession of Engineers certificate issued under the Kerala Inland vessels Rules 2010.Experience on vessels with azimuth propulsion systems preferred.
Please note that the Engineer's certificate is not the same as graduate Engineer certificate issued by universities
Pay: Rs. 30,000.00 Consolidated per month
Age: No upper age limit. The candidate must be physically fit to operate the vessel.
Apprentices as per the Apprenticeship Act
Subjects / trades: Diploma in Elctrical or Mechanical Engineering . NCVT /ITI certificate in Diesel Mechnaic, Electrictian, welder, fitter trades
Period of training: As per the Appreneticeship Act
Pay: The company will provide stippend and other benefits as per the Apprenticeship act / rules
