Duties: -

To allow the work according to deadlines and priorities to the team
To assist the team and help solve their queries regarding any accounting procedures
To ensure that any daily or weekly task allotted is completed within that day/week
To ensure that all emails are sufficiently replied to within that day
To ensure that the team sticks to daily procedures of reporting and update set by Portland team and Konnect consultancy private limited
To ensure the work is done according to standard operating procedures or to set SOP was not defined
To do any other accounting/bookkeeping work that is essential to cater to the scope of projects

Responsibilities:

To pass the necessary Journal or other entries in order to have a true and fair view of financial position in accordance with Tax returns.
To close & deliver books of clients on a monthly basis and clear any discrepancies after discussion with Portland team
To prepare various financial reports required by the client
To prepare a bid/scope of work for prospective clients
To handle any discrepancies or errors found by the Portland team in books prepared by your team
To approve leaves or manage human resources after considering project deadlines

Requirements:

The position requires you to actively participate in the work of the team and ensure that they follow the correct methods of accounting.
You also have to approve their emails before they are sent to the client.

Skill sets required:

Knowledge of QuickBooks (online and desktop)
Preferable
Working knowledge of MS office-Strong accounting knowledge & acquaintance with basic taxation of USA
Team management skills
Communication Skills
Analytical skills
