Job Description
The candidate must have interest to join in a Chartered Firm as a Practicing CA as well as a Partner.
Job Location- Nayapalli, Bhubaneswar
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Accounting & Reporting:
-
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards (e.g., Indian GAAP, IFRS).

Maintain general ledger and ensure timely reconciliations of accounts.

Analyze and interpret financial data to provide meaningful insights to senior management.
-
Ensure accurate and timely closing of books of accounts.
2. Taxation:
-
Manage and file direct and indirect tax returns (Income Tax, GST, TDS, etc.) in compliance with statutory requirements.

Optimize tax liabilities through strategic planning and identify tax-saving opportunities.

Liaise with tax authorities, handle tax assessments, audits, and represent the company during scrutiny proceedings.

Keep abreast of changing tax laws and ensure compliance at all times.
3. Audit and Compliance:
-
Coordinate and manage statutory, internal, and tax audits with external and internal auditors.

Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and corporate policies.

Implement and monitor internal control systems to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.

Maintain accurate documentation and ensure audit readiness at all times.
4. Budgeting & Forecasting:

Prepare annual budgets, cash flow forecasts, and variance analysis reports.

Monitor actual performance against budgets and recommend corrective actions.

Provide strategic inputs for business planning, resource allocation, and risk management.
5. Cost Management & Analysis:

Monitor and control operational expenses.

Perform cost analysis for projects, departments, or business segments to improve efficiency.

Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement corrective measures.
6. Financial Strategy & Advisory:
-
Support the management in financial decision-making through data-driven insights.

Participate in strategic financial planning, capital budgeting, and investment analysis.

Evaluate potential mergers, acquisitions, or partnerships from a financial perspective.
7. Payroll & Employee Taxation:

Oversee payroll processing and ensure proper deduction and remittance of employee taxes (PF, ESI, TDS).

Ensure compliance with labour laws and statutory benefits.
8. Banking & Treasury:
-
Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions.
-
Handle banking operations, fund management, and liquidity planning.
-
Negotiate with lenders for credit facilities, overdrafts, and working capital requirements.
