Job Description:
The selected intern(s) will work on following during the internship:
*Teach low-income participants the basics of food and kitchen safety, food preparation, and making healthy choices and substitutions when cooking, according to the highlighted objectives of each lesson.
*Curriculum is provided by Cooking Matters.
* Choose recipes that demonstrate key nutrition, food budgeting, and food preparation lessons each week.
*Recipes are provided by Cooking Matters, or chefs can supply their own, provided they adhere to Cooking Matters’s criteria (healthy and low-cost).
*Assign participants kitchen tasks that allow each individual to gain hands-on practice and improve their cooking skills.
*Supervise participants in the kitchen, encouraging proper technique and gently correcting as needed.
Who can apply: *Degree(s): Applicants pursuing any degree but having relevant skills and interest may apply.
*Year of degree completion: Applicants currently in any year of study or recent graduates but having relevant skills and interest may apply.
*Only applicants who are available for a minimum duration of 3 month(s) can apply.
*Applicants should be available to start the internship immediately (& no later than 4 Sep’16 ).
Salary: INR 8000 – 12000 /Month
