Job Description

We are opening new branch of our cafe 'Kukki's' in Kakadeo Kanpur, we are required a Chef who can cook multiple cuisines and always eager to learn and create new dishes with a positive body language and good attitude, and help our business and himself to grow. And who will stay with us for a long run. other details will be given over a call.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Preparation and Cooking:

    • Prepare and cook a wide variety of dishes across different cuisines, ensuring that the food meets the restaurant's quality standards and customer expectations.

    • Specialize in and execute multiple types of cuisine such as Italian, Chinese, Indian, Mediterranean, and others as required.

    • Ensure all food is prepared fresh and served promptly in a clean and organized environment.

    • Follow proper cooking techniques and presentation standards to create dishes that are both delicious and visually appealing.

  2. Menu Creation and Innovation:

    • Develop and create new dishes, incorporating seasonal ingredients and culinary trends.

    • Regularly review and suggest changes to the menu to keep it exciting and aligned with customer preferences.

    • Experiment with new recipes, flavors, and techniques to expand the variety and quality of the offerings.

    • Work closely with the Executive Chef or Head Chef to conceptualize and implement new menu items.

  3. Food Quality and Presentation:

    • Ensure that all food leaving the kitchen is of the highest quality and meets the restaurant's standards for taste, texture, and presentation.

    • Maintain consistency in the preparation and presentation of dishes at all times.

    • Review and taste dishes before they are served to ensure proper seasoning and flavor balance.

  4. Kitchen Management:

    • Supervise kitchen staff and delegate tasks to ensure smooth operations during busy service hours.

    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment by adhering to hygiene and safety regulations.

    • Monitor inventory levels and manage kitchen supplies to minimize waste and ensure that all ingredients are fresh and available.

  5. Training and Development:

    • Train and mentor junior chefs and kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food safety, and kitchen organization.

    • Stay up to date with food trends, new cooking techniques, and emerging cuisines to continuously improve and expand culinary knowledge.

    • Participate in internal training sessions to improve skills and knowledge in various culinary styles.

  6. Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.

    • Work closely with the Executive Chef or Head Chef to maintain kitchen operations and contribute to the restaurant's culinary vision.

    • Provide feedback and support to other kitchen staff to enhance teamwork and overall kitchen performance.

  7. Cost Control and Waste Management:

    • Monitor food costs and implement strategies to reduce waste without compromising quality.

    • Assist with the ordering and purchasing of ingredients and kitchen supplies in accordance with the budget.

    • Keep track of portion sizes and ensure that the kitchen operates efficiently and cost-effectively.

  8. Customer Satisfaction:

    • Ensure customer satisfaction by preparing meals that meet or exceed their expectations.

    • Respond to special requests or dietary restrictions and make adjustments to dishes when necessary.

    • Take feedback from customers seriously and use it to improve dishes and the overall dining experience.
