Place of posting: Village Jhareli, Block Jayal, District Nagaur, Rajasthan

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION, TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILL REQUIRED:

· Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in any subject

· Experience in management and governance of Producer Companies, business plan preparation, project planning, and marketing will be preferred

· Sensitivity for poverty, social and ethnic issues

· Prior experience of working with small ruminant production and trade will be preferred

· Willingness to stay in Jhareli/Nagaur area and work with poor community

· Willingness to work in flexible schedules will be an added advantage

· Working knowledge on the computer

· Proficient in Hindi and local dialect and understanding of English

JOB DESCRIPTION

Institution Building

· He/She should be the initiator and facilitator of the Producer Co.

· He/She will be responsible for mobilizing SHG members to form FPO. For this he/she shall conduct FPO trainings. Facilitate in Identifying the directors, applying for PAN, DIN, Bank Account and registration process of FPO in close co-ordination with the concerned Chartered Accountant (CA)

· Participate in capacity development and assessment initiatives such as tool testing, review, trainings etc. of NUMKPCL directors and members and finalizing action plan

· He/She should be aware of statutory compliances on Producer Companies and ensure timely actions on such statutory compliances in close co-ordination with the CA

· Will be responsible for maintaining and updating FPO related documents such as sales register, vouchers, account registers, minutes register and other statutory registers since beginning

· Will work in close coordination with Urmul Khejri Sansthan and Heifer International

· Implement membership drive as per by-laws of NUMKPCL and facilitate issuing of shares and collection of share value 

· He/She should be able to maintain proper data on members and shareholders

· He/she should facilitate regular meetings including statutory quarterly and AGM

 Business Activities:

· He/She should understand the demand-supply aspect of the product/s in the area of operation especially goat and spice etc.

· He/She will facilitate the sales of goats and spice

· He/she should be aware of other buyers and input providers

· He/she should be able to make 5 years business plan for the families on the identified products to give a long-term direction and vision to the individual family

· He/she should be able to compile business data at SHG village, Company level

· Should be good in relation-building with different stakeholders

· Should be good in building   linkages on market and input providers

· Provide support in establishing marketing information systems along with value chain actors

· Develop the business hubs of the FPO with backward and forward linkages

Besides the above tasks, the Chief Executive Officer will be expected to perform other job-related duties as required from time to time with full ownership of NUMKPCL

Gross Salary proposed for this post is fixed INR 30,000 per month.
