Job Description
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Chocolatier located in Yekkar, near Bajpe. The Chocolatier will be responsible for creating a variety of chocolate confections, developing new recipes, tempering chocolate, decorating and finishing chocolates, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. They will also collaborate with the bakery team to ensure high-quality production of all chocolate items.
Qualifications
Bakery, Confectionery, and Pastry skills
Strong Baking and Culinary Skills
Attention to detail and artistic creativity
Excellent organizational skills and ability to maintain cleanliness
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience in chocolate tempering and confection creation
Certificate or degree in a related field is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
1. Chocolate Production & Crafting:

Prepare a wide variety of chocolate products including bonbons, truffles, bars, ganaches, pralines, and molded items.

Use techniques such as tempering, enrobing, molding, and decorating with high precision.

Create new chocolate recipes and seasonal product lines based on trends and customer preferences.
2. Ingredient Selection & Handling:

Source, measure, and handle high-quality ingredients including cocoa, butter, sugar, fillings, and flavor infusions.

Ensure proper storage and freshness of ingredients and finished products.

Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe working environment.
3. Artistic Presentation & Packaging:

Design elegant and creative visual presentations for chocolates.

Decorate confections using cocoa butter colors, transfers, gold leaf, or other edible embellishments.

Assist in packaging for retail or gifting, ensuring a luxurious customer experience.
4. Quality Control:

Monitor texture, taste, and consistency to maintain brand standards.

Regularly check tempering and molding quality to avoid defects like bloom or bubbles.

Maintain detailed records of recipes, batches, and processes.
5. Innovation & Menu Development:

Collaborate with the culinary team or management to develop new flavors, collections, and limited-edition products.

Research chocolate trends, international styles, and new ingredient combinations.
6. Production Planning:

Manage inventory and prepare production schedules based on demand.

Ensure on-time delivery for orders, events, or retail supply.

Work efficiently to meet production targets without compromising on quality.
7. Customer Engagement (Optional):

Participate in live chocolate demonstrations, tastings, or workshops.

Interact with customers in boutique settings or during events to explain the chocolate-making process.
