Responsibilities
- The primary function of this role is to provide business, data, application and technology leadership on Citrix and NetScaler infrastructure platforms. We are a tight knit, highly functional Citrix Infrastructure team that provides expert Citrix product support as well as architecture planning and implementation of new Citrix technologies to an ever-changing, leading-edge business. Responsibilities would include: defining Citrix strategy level target architectures, supporting Citrix XenApp and NetScaler environment and projects, preparing project deliverables and documentation as needed to support Citrix Architecture-related initiatives, supporting Citrix Infrastructure system integration/migration work, acting as a liaison with other IT resources where necessary (security, enterprise architect, Wintel Operations, VMWare, etc.), migrating Citrix presentations into AWS and Azure Cloud platforms, and sun-setting legacy Citrix platforms.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Design, configure, and support the integrated components of the XenApp 7.15 / 1912 CU2 and NetScaler Ver-13 components for highest attainable levels of system reliability, availability, and maintainability.
- Establish and maintain standards for Citrix configuration and maintenance procedures.
- Establish and maintain standards for Citrix server builds and the build process.
- Coordinate and manage Citrix servers and its components upgrades and maintenance tasks.
- Led the project for Citrix provisioning, converting the major applications to Citrix provisioned servers load balanced between two
- Work closely with network engineering team on the LAN architecture.
- Work closely with program management to improve and expand capacity of existing systems and develop new services, features, and applications.
- Diagnose and resolve system problems using Wireshark, Procmon and other relevant monitoring tools.
- Design and implement group policies for all Citrix servers.
- Design and implement Citrix policies for all Citrix servers.
- Optimized Windows servers for best performance using automated scripts through PowerShell.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Working knowledge on XenApp higher version 7.15 LTSR and 1912 also NetScaler 13.
- Proficient in PowerShell scripting to which enhance the daily monitoring and operational activities.
- Proficient in using Citrix and network monitoring tools like Wireshark.
- Proficient in using other monitoring tools for troubleshooting Sev-1 and doing problem management through Procmon, CDF and CRD tools.
