Job Description
Job Summary
Plans, designs, and supervises construction projects to ensure they meet technical standards, deadlines, and budgets. You will work closely with architects, contractors, and clients to oversee site operations and solve engineering problems.
Supervises the daily activities of the construction crew, ensuring work is completed efficiently, safely, and as per project specifications. You act as the main link between workers and site supervisors.
Oversees the overall execution of construction activities, ensuring project milestones and quality standards are met. You manage teams, coordinate between contractors and clients, and troubleshoot operational challenges.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare site plans, blueprints, and construction drawings.

Calculate material requirements and estimate project costs.

Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Coordinate with architects, contractors, and subcontractors.

Monitor construction progress and perform quality checks.

Manage documentation including project reports, permits, and contracts.

Resolve on-site technical issues and provide engineering solutions.

Supervise junior engineers, draftsmen, and site staff.

Lead and coordinate construction workers on site.

Assign tasks based on workers’ skills and project requirements.

Monitor workforce productivity and attendance.

Enforce safety and quality standards on site.

Report progress and issues to the Civil Supervisor or Project Engineer.

Assist in interpreting blueprints and instructions for workers.

Inspect materials and equipment for compliance and readiness.
Supervise all on-site civil engineering activities.

Ensure adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.

Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and clients.

Conduct site inspections and safety audits.

Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and submit to Project Manager.

Train and mentor foremen and junior staff.

Address technical and operational issues promptly.

Manage resource allocation and optimize workflow.
