Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Civil Engineer to join our construction and real estate development firm in Ahmedabad.
Location: Ahmedabad (On-site work)
Experience: 1–5 years preferred
Qualification: B.E./Diploma in Civil Engineering
Salary: Competitive – based on experience
Joining: Immediate or within 30 days
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Design & Planning
-
Prepare and review engineering designs, plans, and specifications for civil engineering projects.

Collaborate with architects, project managers, and other engineers to ensure designs meet client requirements and regulatory standards.

Conduct feasibility studies and site surveys to assess the viability of new construction projects.
2. Site Supervision & Execution
-
Oversee construction activities on-site to ensure they are completed according to design specifications and schedules.

Supervise contractors, subcontractors, and construction workers, ensuring that work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the project stays on track.
3. Material & Resource Management
-
Estimate material requirements and order necessary supplies.

Oversee procurement of materials, ensuring quality standards are met and costs are controlled.

Maintain a log of materials used on-site and monitor material inventory.
4. Quality Assurance & Compliance
-
Ensure construction work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental laws.

Conduct quality control checks and inspections to ensure all construction is in compliance with specifications.

Perform tests and inspections on materials (e.g., concrete, steel, etc.) and workmanship to verify compliance with industry standards.
5. Project Reporting & Documentation

Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, site logs, inspection reports, and safety records.

Submit regular reports on project progress, material usage, and cost management to senior engineers and project managers.

Assist in preparing and reviewing project proposals, cost estimates, and schedules.
6. Budget and Schedule Management

Assist in the preparation of project budgets and monitor expenditures to ensure adherence to financial plans.

Assist with project scheduling, ensuring that deadlines are met and managing any project delays.

Coordinate with other departments and teams to ensure that all necessary resources are available on time.
