Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Site Supervision:
-
Supervise day-to-day construction activities on-site, ensuring work is carried out as per drawings and specifications.

Allocate tasks to workers, subcontractors, and skilled laborers effectively.

Monitor attendance, productivity, and discipline of site personnel.
2. Project Execution:
-
Plan and sequence construction activities for timely completion.
-
Coordinate with civil engineers and site engineers to interpret plans and ensure the correct execution of structural and finishing works.

Monitor the progress of construction against the schedule and report delays or issues.
3. Quality Control and Compliance:
-
Ensure that construction work meets the required quality standards and follows project specifications.

Inspect materials, workmanship, and alignment to prevent rework or deviations.

Maintain proper use and storage of construction materials, tools, and equipment.
4. Safety Management:
-
Implement safety protocols and ensure all workers follow safety guidelines and wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).

Identify potential hazards and take corrective measures to prevent accidents.

Conduct regular toolbox talks and safety briefings.
5. Coordination and Communication:
-
Serve as a link between site workers, contractors, engineers, and project managers.
-
Coordinate with vendors and material suppliers for timely delivery of construction materials.

Report site activities and daily progress to project engineers or management.
6. Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain site logs, attendance records, labor deployment, and daily progress reports (DPR).

Record measurements for contractor billing and maintain checklist documents for inspections.

Assist in preparing work permits and other compliance documents as needed.
7. Equipment and Material Handling:

Ensure proper utilization and maintenance of construction tools, equipment, and machinery.

Monitor inventory levels of construction materials and requisition supplies when needed.
