Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineering Trainer to educate and train aspiring civil engineers, construction supervisors, and site workers. The trainer will be responsible for delivering technical knowledge, practical skills, and industry best practices to enhance the competence of professionals in the construction sector.
Key ResponsibilitiesTraining Delivery:
- Conduct training sessions on various civil engineering topics, including construction methods, site management, safety protocols, and quality control.
- Deliver both theoretical and practical lessons through interactive lectures, case studies, and hands-on site demonstrations.
- Use modern teaching techniques, including multimedia presentations and online learning tools.
Curriculum Development:
- Design and update training materials to align with industry standards and advancements in civil engineering.
- Develop customized training programs for different levels of learners, from beginners to experienced professionals.
- Integrate real-world examples and case studies into the curriculum.
Technical Guidance:
- Provide technical insights on structural design, material selection, surveying, and project management.
- Guide trainees on the use of software like AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, Revit, and MS Project.
Workplace Communication & Soft Skills Training (if required):
- Teach effective communication skills for engineers and site workers.

- Provide feedback and guidance to trainees for continuous improvement.
Industry Collaboration & Updates:
- Stay updated with the latest civil engineering trends, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with construction companies, engineering firms, and industry experts for guest lectures and site visits.
- Education: Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3-7 years of experience in civil engineering, construction, or training roles.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in structural design, site management, safety regulations, and engineering software.
- Teaching Skills: Strong ability to explain complex concepts simply and engagingly.
- Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills in English and the local language (if required).
- Training may be conducted in classrooms, construction sites, or online platforms.
- Travel may be required for on-site training or industry collaboration.
