Job Description
- Develop and implement quality systems: Create and maintain quality management systems (QMS), establish quality standards, and define inspection criteria and test protocols.
- Perform inspections and testing: Conduct routine inspections and tests on materials, components, and final products to ensure they meet specifications.
- Analyze and troubleshoot issues: Investigate product or production issues through root cause analysis and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Conduct audits: Perform internal and external audits of processes, systems, and suppliers to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with teams: Work with design, production, and other teams to integrate quality into the product development lifecycle and address quality concerns.
- Manage documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all quality assurance activities, test results, and inspection reports.
- Drive continuous improvement: Analyze quality metrics and data to identify trends, suggest improvements, and lead initiatives like Six Sigma or Lean.
- Ensure compliance: Verify that products and processes comply with relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO) and safety regulations.
