The Punjab Public Service Commission invites Online Application Forms from eligible candidates for recruitment to (67) posts to be filled through Punjab State Civil Services Combined Competitive Examination – 2018
Qualification: (i) The candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institution. Provided that the candidate may be permitted to take Preliminary Competitive Examination while studying for his degree. However, the candidate shall be required to produce proof of passing the degree course for being eligible to take the Main Competitive Examination during that year. (ii) The Candidates must have passed Punjabi of matriculation or its equivalent standard as on the last date of receipt of Online application Form i.e.23/04/218.

The Joint Public Service Commission, the precursor of the Punjab Public Service Commission,
with its writ running from the Khyber Pass to the Jamuna near Delhi,
was born at Lahore on May 1,1937. In the wake of the Partition, the
Punjab Public Service Commission resurged in February, 1948, at Shimla
with its revised jurisdiction extending over the then province of East
Punjab. Following the merger of the States of Punjab and Pepsu, it
shifted to Patiala on Nov.1st,1956. On 1stNov1966, its territorial
jurisdiction again decreased due to the formation of the States of
Haryana and Himachal Pradesh.
