Job Description

We are currently seeking a qualified and motivated Civil Site Engineer with a minimum of one year of hands-on experience in building construction projects to join our growing team and contribute to our ongoing success.

Key Responsibilities

Site Supervision:
Supervise daily construction activities on-site, ensuring they align with the project drawings, specifications, and timelines. Monitor the performance of subcontractors and workers.
Execution of Works:
Ensure proper execution of structural, civil, and finishing works as per the approved plans. This includes foundations, concrete works, masonry, formwork, steel reinforcement, plastering, flooring, waterproofing, and other related tasks.
Quality Assurance:
Conduct inspections and tests to ensure work quality. Monitor adherence to quality standards and rectify deviations immediately. Coordinate with the Quality Control team for approvals and documentation.
Material Management:
Ensure the timely availability of required materials, tools, and equipment. Verify the quality and quantity of materials delivered to the site and prevent material wastage.
Planning and Scheduling:
Coordinate with the project planning team to follow the project schedule. Assist in micro-planning weekly and daily work programs and allocate labor and resources accordingly.
Safety Compliance:
Ensure all safety regulations and guidelines are followed. Conduct regular safety toolbox talks and site inspections to minimize risks and accidents.
Technical Coordination:
Collaborate with consultants, architects, structural engineers, and MEP teams to resolve technical issues at the site. Interpret drawings and provide on-ground support to workers and supervisors.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain site diaries, checklists, and daily progress reports. Update the Project Manager about project progress, delays, issues, and required actions.
Inspection and Handover:
Assist in preparing for inspections by clients or authorities. Participate in the handover process, ensuring all site work is complete and meets expectations.
Problem-Solving:
Address any unforeseen technical issues on-site, propose viable solutions, and ensure timely resolution to avoid work stoppage.
