Position Overview:
We are seeking a Civil Site Engineer to oversee and manage construction projects on-site, ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion. The ideal candidate should have technical expertise in civil engineering, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to coordinate with contractors and teams. This role requires hands-on experience in site execution, structural work, and project management.
- Oversee construction projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to plans and specifications.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress and identify potential problems.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Site Supervision & Execution:
- Oversee daily site activities, construction progress, and workforce coordination.
- Ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and safety regulations.
- Conduct on-site inspections and quality checks to maintain construction standards.
2. Project Planning & Coordination:
- Work with architects, contractors, and project managers to execute plans.
- Monitor project timelines, material usage, and resource allocation.
- Identify and resolve technical issues or project delays.
3. Quality Control & Safety Compliance:
- Ensure all work follows government regulations, safety protocols, and industry standards.
- Conduct material testing and quality assurance checks.
- Maintain a safe work environment and enforce safety guidelines on-site.
4. Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain daily progress reports, material logs, and labor records.
- Prepare and present site reports, project updates, and issue logs to management.
- Assist in budget estimation, cost control, and procurement planning.
