Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Site Supervision and Execution:

Monitor and supervise all on-site construction activities to ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and project plans.

Ensure that construction is done in accordance with safety guidelines, building codes, and environmental regulations.

Coordinate with subcontractors, masons, laborers, and other site staff to ensure smooth workflow and task allocation.

Maintain discipline and ensure work is progressing according to the daily work schedule.
2. Planning and Scheduling:
-
Assist in developing and managing construction schedules and timelines.
-
Ensure timely availability of materials, equipment, and manpower.
-
Track project progress daily and prepare updates or reports for senior management.
-
Alert project managers to delays or issues that may affect the timeline or budget.
3. Quality Assurance and Control:
-
Conduct regular inspections of ongoing work to ensure adherence to quality standards and construction techniques.

Ensure that all materials used and work performed comply with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Identify and rectify any quality-related issues at the site.
4. Drawing and Design Interpretation:
-
Read and interpret architectural and structural blueprints and drawings.

Provide technical inputs and support to resolve site-related queries from contractors or labor teams.

Report any inconsistencies or design issues to the engineering or design teams for clarification or correction.
5. Coordination and Communication:
-
Serve as a point of contact between site workers, project managers, architects, and consultants.

Communicate effectively with stakeholders to keep them informed about project status and any changes.

Ensure smooth coordination between all departments involved in the project.
6. Documentation and Reporting:
-
Maintain daily site logs, including labor deployment, materials received, site issues, and work completed.

Prepare and submit site reports, measurement sheets, billing records, and material consumption reports.

Ensure proper documentation of all on-site activities for audits and project reviews.
7. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE):
-
Ensure that all site activities comply with safety guidelines and company HSE policies.
-
Monitor safety practices on site and report any unsafe conditions or violations.
-
Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings as required.
8. Resource Management:
-
Monitor the utilization of materials, tools, and equipment to reduce wastage and maintain efficiency.

Keep track of material inventory and raise requests for procurement in a timely manner.
