Key Responsibilities

Site Supervision
-
Supervising day-to-day construction activities on-site.

Monitoring workers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure adherence to project plans.

Ensuring that finishing works (furniture, flooring, cladding, POP, painting, etc.) meet required standards.

Finishing Works Oversight
-
Supervising installation of furniture and woodworks such as doors, windows, cupboards, and partitions.
-
Overseeing flooring works including tiles, marble, granite, and other finishes.
-
Monitoring wall cladding, POP ceilings, decorative finishes, and stone polishing.
-
Checking painting works for quality, uniformity, and durability.

Quality Control
-
Ensuring materials used meet required specifications and quality standards.
-
Inspecting work regularly and rectifying any defects immediately.
-
Coordinating with quality engineers to maintain compliance with industry standards.
-

Coordination and Communication
-
Acting as a point of contact between project managers, architects, contractors, and workers.
-
Attending site meetings and reporting progress to senior engineers or project managers.
-
Coordinating with suppliers for timely delivery of materials.

Workforce Management
-
Supervising skilled and unskilled labor at the site.
-
Assigning tasks and ensuring optimum utilization of manpower.

Monitoring attendance, productivity, and safety compliance of workers.

Project Monitoring
-
Ensuring that project schedules are maintained and deadlines are met.
-
Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
-
Identifying potential delays and working with management to implement corrective measures.

Health and Safety Compliance
-
Ensuring that safety protocols are followed on site.
-
Conducting toolbox talks and safety briefings for workers.
-
Reporting accidents or near-miss incidents to the safety department immediately.

Technical Support
-
Reading and interpreting construction drawings and blueprints.
-
Guiding workers on technical specifications and execution.

Assisting engineers in resolving technical issues related to site work.

Resource Management
-
Monitoring material consumption and preventing wastage.
-
Maintaining stock registers and coordinating for material requirements.
-
Ensuring tools, machinery, and equipment are in good working condition.

Documentation and Reporting

Maintaining daily site diaries, including records of manpower, materials, and progress.

Preparing reports for higher management regarding site conditions and requirements.

Documenting changes or modifications made during execution.
