Job Description

Claim processing doctor for mass scheme.
He/ she has to process mass scheme claims online.
Based on the documents uploaded in the portal needs to verify and process accordingly.
Either approve or reject the claim .
Interviewing insurance claimants to obtain pertinent information about their claims
Reviewing insurance policy documents to determine coverage limits, exclusions, and other provisions that may affect the claim
Calculating damages and determining the amount of compensation due to the claimant
Communicating with attorneys on behalf of the insurance company or agent during litigation of claims
Reviewing medical bills, medical records, and other documentation to determine medical necessity and appropriate treatment
Processing settlement offers made by the insurance company to settle claims on behalf of the insurance company
Reviewing claims for errors and discrepancies, such as incorrect dates or incorrect amounts
Determining whether claims are valid based on policy provisions and state laws
Calculating loss amounts using data from multiple sources such as medical records, police reports, and property appraisals
Communicating with claimants to answer questions regarding their claim status and process
Preparing reports detailing claim settlements or denials
