Client Relationship Executive
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Relationship Management:

Serve as the main point of contact for manufacturers, exporters, and traders across India, ensuring their transportation needs are understood and met.

Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients by providing timely solutions and a high level of service.

Understand each client’s specific requirements for truck placements (short and long routes), ensuring that service expectations are consistently exceeded.

Regularly engage with clients to assess their satisfaction, discuss performance metrics, and address any concerns or challenges.

Respond to client inquiries quickly and professionally, ensuring smooth communication throughout the logistics process.
2. Coordination and Communication:
-
Work closely with internal teams, including operations, dispatch, and drivers, to ensure timely and accurate vehicle placements.

Coordinate with truck operators to schedule deliveries as per client requirements, making sure to meet deadlines.

Track and update clients on the status of their deliveries, ensuring proactive communication about any delays or changes to the transport schedule.

Communicate and explain service terms, delivery schedules, and transportation costs to clients effectively.

Ensure that all client requests, including special delivery conditions or urgent requirements, are prioritized and handled.
3. Proof of Delivery (POD) Management:

Ensure proper handling of Proof of Delivery (POD) documents for all shipments, ensuring that they are accurate, timely, and securely delivered to the clients.

Work with clients to ensure that PODs are signed, collected, and submitted for proper documentation and billing.

Monitor the process to confirm that PODs are received promptly and accurately reflect delivery completion.
4. Problem Resolution:

Address client complaints and concerns regarding delivery schedules, vehicle placements, or service quality, ensuring that issues are resolved quickly and professionally.

Take ownership of any client-facing issues, ensuring timely resolution while keeping the client informed throughout the process.

Work collaboratively with the operations team to find solutions to delivery delays, route changes, or any logistical challenges.

Maintain a problem-solving mindset and act as an advocate for the client within the company.
5. Reporting and Documentation:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, delivery status, and POD documentation in the company’s CRM or internal systems.

Generate and share regular performance reports and updates with clients, tracking key metrics like on-time delivery, vehicle placement, and POD receipt.

Ensure all internal documentation related to client accounts is accurate and available for audit or follow-up purposes.
6. Upselling and Service Expansion:

Identify opportunities to upsell additional services to clients, such as premium transportation services, route optimization, or specialized vehicle placements.

Proactively suggest improvements to clients’ transportation strategies based on operational insights, offering cost-effective solutions for long-term partnerships.

Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to target new business opportunities within existing client accounts.
7. Market Research and Industry Trends:

Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and changes in the logistics and transportation sectors that could impact client service.

Provide feedback on client needs and suggestions to help improve service offerings and meet the evolving demands of the industry.
