Job Description

Job Summary:

A Client Relationship Executive (CRE) plays a critical role in maintaining and strengthening a company’s relationship with its customers. The primary responsibility is to ensure high levels of client satisfaction by addressing client needs, resolving issues, and serving as a communication bridge between the client and internal teams. CREs also identify opportunities to grow existing accounts, improve service delivery, and contribute to client retention strategies.

This role demands excellent communication skills, emotional intelligence, and a strong understanding of the company's products or services. It is ideal for professionals who enjoy helping others, solving problems, and creating positive, long-term client experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Onboarding and Orientation:

  • Facilitate smooth onboarding of new clients by explaining product features, services, terms, and policies.

  • Conduct orientation sessions (virtually or in person) to help clients understand processes and usage.

  • Collect and verify required documentation during the onboarding process.

2. Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with a portfolio of clients.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding queries, updates, and service requests.

  • Maintain regular communication through phone calls, emails, meetings, and follow-ups.

3. Customer Service and Support:

  • Handle client complaints or issues promptly and professionally.

  • Coordinate with internal departments (technical, billing, operations, logistics, etc.) to ensure timely issue resolution.

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through quality service and proactive support.

4. Account Monitoring and Retention:

  • Monitor client account activity, usage patterns, and feedback to identify concerns or opportunities.

  • Ensure timely renewals, payment follow-ups, or service upgrades as needed.

  • Work to reduce customer churn by strengthening engagement and trust.

5. Cross-Selling and Upselling:

  • Identify client needs and offer relevant products or services that add value.

  • Coordinate with the sales team to share leads for cross-selling or upselling opportunities.

  • Educate clients about new features, promotions, or policy changes that may benefit them.

6. Feedback Collection and Reporting:

  • Conduct periodic satisfaction surveys or informal feedback sessions.

  • Document client feedback and relay insights to internal teams for service improvement.

  • Generate reports on client activity, issues raised, and support metrics.

7. Documentation and CRM Management:

  • Maintain accurate client records in CRM systems or databases.

  • Log all client interactions, requests, complaints, and resolutions for future reference.

  • Track service-level agreements (SLAs), timelines, and escalation points.

8. Collaboration and Team Support:

  • Work closely with sales, product, and support teams to enhance the client experience.

  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and planning discussions.

  • Support the development of customer-focused strategies and campaigns.
