Job Description
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Creative Direction & Design
- Think creatively to produce new ideas and concepts and develop interactive designs.
- Translate your ideas visually for your team by illustrating your ideas in various looks and styles, with rough sketches and working on layouts ready for print.
- Work with a range of media, including design tools & software to create designs for event décor and/or marketing material used for internal/external communication.
Client Relationship Management
· Handhold the client throughout the event ensuring their expectations are met with
· Be a part of Mood Board Creations & Event Ideation
· Liaise with production teams to explain client expectations, as and when required
· Visit the event site as a representative of SPREE
· Attend to all issues related to sales, marketing and deliveries
· Maintain relationships with clients through telephone calls, emails, personal visits, even post the event
· Generate new leads/referrals by being in touch with the clients
Site Management
· To manage all technical aspects of all live events
· To manage the event during build up, open, and breakdown periods. To act as a main contact/liaison between the client and all service partners/departments working on the event, including an element of managing service partner staff.
· Estimate the time, materials required to complete a job and provide appropriate data for preparation of proposals/quotations.
· To maintain high standards of production for all events
· To work with other departments to determine requirements for events and to maximize income from these events
· Complete reconciliation for all event spends including petty cash, credit cards, fuel expenses, overtime and weekend pay
Team Management
· To manage the team of In-House Technicians, freelance Technicians and event specific contractors.
· To line manage the team of technical staff, directing the work of permanent technicians, daily/hourly paid staff on event basis.
· To ensure that adequate and appropriate technical support is provided to staff in advance, during and following events.
Procurement
· Select suppliers based on commercial and technical factors.
· Collaborate with key persons at the suppliers to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company.
· Invite quotes from suppliers and evaluate the same using comparison charts.
· Negotiate quotes with suppliers to secure win-win terms and agree contracts, monitoring the quality of materials and the time of delivery.
