The Role

The Clinical Research Associate is responsible for the design, analysis, and reporting of clinical research projects conducted by the Janitri Innovations in India and globally. 

Duties and Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the planning, collection, interpretation, and implementation of a clinical trial which includes writing clinical trial methodologies (procedures), identifying and briefing appropriate trial investigators (clinicians), setting up and disbanding trial study centers, designing trial materials and supplying study centers with sufficient quantities, providing clinicians with instructions on how to conduct the trials, collecting and authenticating data collection forms (commonly known as case report forms), monitoring progress throughout the duration of the trial, and writing reports
• Participate in the extraction, storage, analysis, and delivery of data to end-users.
• Construct a clinical investigation plan and perform primary data analysis.
• Possess professional knowledge of clinical research, validation, and computer software for medical devices.
• Perform sample size/power calculations.
• Contribute to the interpretation and publication of research results.
• Independently manage all clinical aspects of a project.
• Coordinating with the other Public health team members for the research publication.
• Keep abreast of new clinical methods.

As a Team Member: 

• Participate in team meetings and activities.
• Participate in objective setting, performance management.
• Participate in special projects to improve processes, tools, systems, and organization Occupational Health and Safety.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

• Masters/ Doctoral qualifications in clinical research management or a related field. 

• Minimum 2-year experience as a clinical researcher in medical devices.

• Knowledge of SPSS, Microsoft excel, R programming language, Matlab, Python, SAS software.

• In-depth understanding of clinical research methods and statistics theory. 

• Understanding of data management principles for clinical trials and medical research

• Applied knowledge of advanced statistical models, such as generalized linear models, survival analyses and mixed models

• Experience managing projects

• Experience in team coordination 

• Strong focus on quality and timely delivery of work

• Well organized with good time management skills

• Strong problem solving and analytical skills 

• Excellent interpersonal skills with high level of proficiency in English 

• Ability to work well and flexibly i.e. autonomously, in small teams and with a wide range of varying stakeholders 

• Ability to see the big picture, whilst still maintaining a focus on detail and implementation  Strong leadership and mentoring skills
