Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Microservice–based solutions.
- Collaborate with team to translate requirements into customized solutions and to develop an implementation strategy, documentation activities, and designs that comply with platform best practices.
- Write and execute automated feature and regression tests as part of daily development. Everything you do will be automated ready for cloud scale deployments.
- Create RESTful Web services to expose and process data.
- Contribute within a DevOps enabled continuous integration environment.
- Participate in code and design reviews with other developers.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of software development experience in cloud environment.
- Must have hands on development experience with cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure, AWS
- Experience designing and developing secure, flexible, scalable, customization, and reliable enterprise web based cloud-hosted applications using industry best practices.
- Hands on experience with software development technology stack including Java/C#, Java-Script, AngularJS, JSON, REST, SOAP, APIs, etc.
- Experience with Linux/UNIX systems and the best practices for deploying applications to those stacks using Docker, kubernetes or Google App Engine (PaaS)
- Knowledge of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD), UML, Agile Software Development, and coding best practices.
- Experience with Microservices development and design patterns. Ability to write quality unit and end–to–end tests and debug and optimize existing and new code.
- Good communication skills, proactive mindset and capacity to learn and work independently.
- Knowledge of remote access products, VPNs, gateways, firewalls, proxies, and networking configurations would be an added advantage.
