Department: Manufacturing / Production
Reports To: CNC Supervisor / Production Manager
Location: [Bangalore]
Employment Type: Full-time / Part-time / Contract
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The CNC Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to produce precision components according to technical drawings and specifications. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality output while maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
Key Responsibilities:-
Set up and operate CNC machines (e.g., mills, lathes, routers, grinders) to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, and milling.

Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD/CAM files to understand specifications.

Load raw materials and parts into the machines.

Monitor machine operations and make adjustments to ensure product quality and compliance with specifications.

Inspect and measure finished products using precision tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).

Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot minor issues.

Maintain production logs and complete necessary documentation.

Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to improve processes and product quality.

High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or vocational training in CNC machining preferred.

Proven experience as a CNC Operator or in a similar role in a manufacturing setting.

Strong understanding of CNC machinery and G-code.

Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.

Proficient in using measurement tools and gauges.

Strong attention to detail and quality control.

Basic math and computer skills.

Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift materials up to 50 lbs.

Experience with CNC programming (e.g., Fanuc, Haas, Mazak).

Knowledge of CAD/CAM software.

Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma certification is a plus.

Work is typically performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, machinery, and metal particles.

Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
