Job Description

* Manage computer numeric controlled(CNC)equipment from setup to operation

* Prepare and load raw material and parts on to the machines.

* Leading test run*Monitoring machinery and maintain safe operations.

* Inspecting finished products

Key Responsibilities:

1. Machine Setup and Operation:

Set up and prepare CNC machines for daily operation, including loading raw materials and selecting appropriate tools.
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD/CAM files to determine machining requirements.
Input or load CNC programs and make necessary adjustments to settings for speed, feed, and tool paths.
Operate CNC machines such as lathes, mills, routers, or grinders to manufacture parts according to specifications.

2. Quality Control and Inspection:

Conduct in-process and post-process inspections using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMMs.
Ensure manufactured parts meet tolerance, surface finish, and dimensional accuracy as defined in technical drawings.
Identify and correct deviations or defects promptly, reporting any quality issues to supervisors or quality assurance teams.

3. Machine Maintenance and Tool Management:

Perform routine maintenance checks on CNC machines to ensure proper functioning and reduce downtime.
Replace worn or broken tools and adjust tool offsets as needed.
Keep machines clean and properly lubricated, following manufacturer and safety guidelines.
Notify maintenance personnel of any mechanical problems that require repairs.

4. Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of production output, machine performance, tool usage, and any non-conformance reports.
Document setup procedures for future reference and consistent part production.
Communicate any discrepancies in material or drawings to the supervisor or engineering department.

5. Safety and Compliance:

Follow all company and industry safety standards and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Ensure machine guards and safety devices are in place and functional before operation.
Participate in regular safety drills and machine operation training.
Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
