Qualification : Pass in SSLC, ITI (NTC) and National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in the respective trade. Minimum of three years post qualification experience/training in a Shipyard or Heavy Engineering Company.

Qualification : Three year Diploma in respective Branch of Engineering with 60% of marks from a State Board of Technical Education. Minimum of two years post qualification experience/ training in a Shipyard/ Marine Engineering Training Institute/Heavy Engineering Industry. Proficiency and experience of working in a computerized environment would be advantageous.

Qualification : Three year Diploma in Commercial Practice or Information Technology or Computer Engineering with 60% of marks from a State Board of Technical Education. Minimum of two years post qualification experience/ training in a Shipyard/ Marine Engineering Training Institute/Heavy Engineering Industry. Proficiency and experience of working in a computerized environment would be advantageous.
E.8. Finance/2 Post
Qualification : Post Graduate Degree in Commerce from a recognised University. Minimum of two years post qualification Industrial experience/ training in the finance department of government or a large private/ public sector enterprise. Proficiency and experience in working in computerized environment would be advantageous.
Remuneration : i. For posts at Sl. No. A, B and D, Fabrication/Outfit Assistants/ Semi Skilled Rigger - Consolidated pay of ` 14000/-pm and compensation for extra hours of work limited to ` 4200/- pm. ii. For posts at Sl. No. C, General Worker (Canteen) - Consolidated pay of ` 11000/-pm and compensation for extra hours of work limited to ` 3300/- pm. iii. For posts at Sl. No. E, Project Assistants - Consolidated pay of ` 15600/-pm and compensation for extra hours of work limited to ` 4700/- pm.
Age : 30 years as on 24 August 2016
Application Fee : Rs. 100/-(Non-refundable) (in the case of Unreserved and OBC applicants) is applicable for all posts. Fee in the form of a crossed Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favor of COCHIN SHIPYARD LIMITED on any Nationalised bank payable at Kochi should be sent in original along with print out of Online Application form (Confirmation page) and self-attested copies of certificates to The Chief General Manager (HR), Cochin Shipyard Ltd, Kochi-682015 by post.
Period of Contract : All posts above are temporary in nature and for a maximum period of three years subject to project requirements and performance.
Method of Selection : For selection to the posts of Fabrication/Outfit Assistants, General Worker Canteen and Semi Skilled Rigger, Practical test may be conducted and for selection to the post of Project Assistants, OMR based Objective type Written test may be conducted. Applicants who have submitted applications through online and forwarded the print out of Online Application (Confirmation Page),Demand Draft in original (as applicable) and self-attested copies of certificates towards proof of age, caste, educational qualification, experience etc by post will be short-listed for the Practical test/OMR based Objective type written test.
