Job Overview

We are looking for a Coil Shop Technician to work in the Evaporator & Condenser Coil Manufacturing process for air conditioning units. The ideal candidate should have experience in coil bending, fin punching, brazing, and pressure testing to ensure high-quality coil production.

Key Responsibilities

1. Coil Manufacturing & Assembly

Operate coil bending, fin punching, and expansion machines.
Cut and shape copper/aluminum tubes according to design specifications.
Assemble evaporator and condenser coils following engineering drawings.

2. Brazing & Welding

Perform brazing, soldering, and welding to join copper tubing.
Ensure leak-proof connections and durability of coil joints.
Maintain proper gas flow and heat application to prevent defects.

3. Testing & Quality Control

Conduct pressure tests (leak detection, nitrogen purging, vacuum testing, etc.).
Inspect coils for bends, cracks, or improper brazing.
Ensure coils meet energy efficiency and durability standards.

4. Equipment & Maintenance

Operate and maintain expansion, bending, and cutting machines.
Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of tools and machinery.
Follow safety protocols for handling gas torches and high-pressure systems.
