Responsibilities:

Contact customers to collect outstanding payments.

Negotiate payment plans and terms with clients.

Maintain accurate records of all collection activities.

Resolve billing issues and disputes.

Follow up with clients on past-due accounts regularly.

Comply with federal, state, and company policies related to debt collection.

Prepare and submit regular reports on collection activities to management.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.

Previous experience in collections, customer service, or a related field.

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Ability to handle stressful situations and remain calm under pressure.

Familiarity with debt collection laws and regulations.
