Job Description
We are looking for a candidate who has a positive
attitude, ability to multi-task and high levels of commitment and integrity. The
candidate should believe in the idea of sustainability and be able to create
innovative solutions for business partners/clients. An ideal candidate will
have excellent networking skills, understanding of waste in India, and
fantastic 21st-century skills especially Critical thinking, communication and
collaboration
Key Responsibilties Include : -
Manage the collection center in accordance with the applicable e-Waste collection center rules.
Responsible for the maintenance and collection for the collection center
Responsible for organizing e-waste awareness for general public and corporates.
Co-ordinate with the State Pollution Control Board on a regular basis
Coordinates with the Logistics Service Provider for collection and transportation of e-waste
Additionally explore identifying, onboarding and collecting e-Waste from e-Waste Aggregators, Repair Shops and Bulk Consumers.
Ensures that all transactions are updated on Karo’s mobile app
Ensures that all suppliers are aware of the categories of e-waste accepted by Karo Sambhav and ensures compliance with Karo’s Collection process

Karo Sambhav partners with a wide range of stakeholders to co-create engagement programs that drive long term behavioral change in society, enable collection and responsible recycling of waste at scale. Karo Sambhav had partnered with the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a part of the World Bank Group, for 2 years to set up a robust India-wide transformative solution on e-waste management with the aim of making recycling a way of life. Karo Sambhav started with a focus on e-waste and has now expanded into plastics waste management.
Karo Sambhav’s country-wide grassroots programs have enabled a collection of 7500+ Metric Tons till date, and engagement with over 2 million people and over 5000+ informal sector waste aggregators and last-mile collectors. Karo Sambhav's Impact Report and Impact Video for 2017-18 highlight similar milestones of its journey.
In Sep 2019, an Industry Coalition of 31 producers announced a set-up of a new ‘Asia’s Largest Packaging Waste Management Venture’ in partnership with Karo Sambhav.
