Job Description
Introduction
We are looking for a responsible, target-driven, and persuasive Collection Executive to manage and recover outstanding payments from customers and clients. The role involves making collection calls, sending payment reminders, negotiating settlements, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring timely recovery of dues.
This position requires strong communication skills, patience, and convincing ability to handle customers effectively while maintaining professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
1. Payment Recovery & Follow-ups

Contact customers through calls, emails, and visits to collect pending payments.

Send reminders, notices, and settlement offers to defaulting customers.

Ensure timely recovery of dues to meet monthly collection targets.
2. Customer Relationship Management

Build positive relationships with customers while ensuring timely payments.

Understand customer issues and provide solutions or settlement options.

Maintain a polite, professional, and persuasive approach at all times.
3. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain accurate records of collections, pending payments, and follow-ups.

Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly collection reports to the manager.

Ensure proper documentation of payment receipts and settlements.
4. Coordination with Internal Teams

Work closely with the accounts and sales teams to resolve billing disputes.

Coordinate with the legal department for severe non-payment cases.

Support management in strategizing collection campaigns and recovery processes.
Skills & Competencies

Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Ability to handle difficult conversations calmly.

Basic knowledge of MS Excel, payment tracking tools, and CRM software.

Target-oriented and capable of working under pressure.

Good understanding of credit control and recovery processes.
