Job Description

Key responsibilities:

Ø  Maintain positive relations with customers and guests through letters, mails and correspondence.

Ø  Maintain and manage communications with donors, visitors, guests, media and department heads through regular interaction.

Ø  Proof reading, editing and writing content on a regular basis for articles and other web content.

Ø  Writes and posts content online; maintains organization Web pages and blog(s)

Ø  Coordinate content creation & publishing of organization newsletters, annual report and for all communication materials (internal or external)

Ø  Prepare internal and external communications including announcements, press releases, quarterly reports, presentations, technical documentation etc as needed.

Ø  Updating the orgainisation program, sending invitation to the events, reports and news letter.

Ø  Providing all associates with necessary details-articles/ information etc.

Ø  Sending the donors thanking and appreciation letters.

Ø  In charge of all publicity work in various forms TV/ Radio/ news letter/broachers/ banners/pamphlets etc.

Ø  Develop and maintain association with other similar organization.  

Ø  Keeping all records of coverage got. Hard and soft copy of news paper cutting/ record of TV programs, radio programs etc.

Ø  Should be able to develop content for effective communication

Ø  Keeping all the photo of albums and other communication media updated.

Ø  Coordinating with the photographers/ video person etc. for the coverage for any important event.

Ø  Preparing articles and press releases for the media.

Ø  Create awareness and marketing of equipments for the blind for sale purpose.

Ø  Send updates of expenditure incurred towards PR to accounts department.

Ø  Monthly report to board of Trustees.

Ø  Coordinate with other departments and meet their requirements.

Ø  Develop strategies for maintaining public relations

Ø  Maintain positive and credible Electronic and print media relations.

Ø  Manage regular media briefs regarding the activities of an organization.
