We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Company Accountant to join our supermarket team in Datagalli, Mysore. The ideal candidate will handle all financial transactions, including daily billing, accounting, and overall oversight of supermarket operations. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning of the store.
Key Responsibilities:-
Manage all accounting tasks including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and inventory accounting

Handle daily billing and point-of-sale (POS) operations

Monitor and record all store transactions and maintain ledgers

Generate monthly financial reports and GST filings
-
Ensure proper documentation and compliance with tax regulations

Work with auditors during financial audits

Supervise staff to ensure proper cash handling and billing practices

Assist in stock checking and coordinate with suppliers for invoicing

Monitor day-to-day operations and help with store management activities

Maintain records for payroll, petty cash, and vendor payments

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field

Proven experience in accounting or retail finance (supermarket experience preferred)

Good knowledge of Tally, MS Excel, and billing software

Familiarity with GST rules and returns filing
-
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to manage and multitask in a fast-paced retail environment

Local candidates from Mysore preferred
