Job Title: Compliance Secretary / Company Secretary
Job Summary:
The Compliance Secretary is responsible for ensuring that the organization complies with all legal, regulatory, and corporate governance requirements. The role involves managing statutory records, filings, board meetings, and advising management on compliance-related matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with corporate laws, regulatory requirements, and company policies
- Maintain statutory registers, records, and filings (ROC, MCA, etc.)
- Organize and manage board meetings, AGM/EGM, and prepare minutes
- File necessary returns and documents within prescribed timelines
- Advise management on corporate governance and legal compliance
- Liaise with regulatory authorities, auditors, and legal advisors
- Monitor changes in laws and ensure timely implementation
- Handle company secretarial audits and compliance reports
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Company Secretary (CS) from ICSI
- Strong knowledge of Companies Act, corporate laws, and compliance frameworks
- Attention to detail and strong documentation skills
- Good communication and stakeholder management abilities
- High level of integrity and confidentiality
