Job Description

Job Title: Compliance Associate

Location: Infopark, Kochi

Brief Description:

Compliance with AML-KYC in terms of client/sales communication, Document validation, handling Client/Sales queries.
Verifying and validating KYC documents as per industry norms.
Perform due diligence review and escalate concerns to Compliance Manager.
Co-ordinating with other teams to ensure effectiveness.
Preparing and updating of different MIS as necessary.
Understanding of Client onboarding procedure and other regulations such as FATCA, CRS, DFAT screenings would be the added advantage.

Role Description:

The candidate would be part of a team that is into:
Performing AML-KYC document sourcing, validating, Risk Assessments, handling Client communication, Enhanced Due Diligence on entities, funds, and other high risks, medium and low-risk clients.
Document validating for existing clients to ensure adherence and Compliance with industry-based regulatory requirements around AML-KYC.
Liaising with sales staff, relationship managers, clients and operations to identify required AML-KYC information.

Preferred Skills Required:

Candidate with knowledge of KYC requirements of different entity types and hands-on experience in AML/KYC tasks.
Knowledge and understanding of KYC process and documents (preferably in Banking/MSB).
Familiarity with regulatory requirements around KYC, FATCA, DFAT etc across diverse entity types.
Knowledge of Research Techniques like Company websites, Stock Exchange, Regulatory bodies etc.
Candidates with hands-on experience in AML / KYC tools such as WorldCheck, Lexis Nexis, and Negative News Searches etc.
Good communications (multilingual) & interpersonal skills.
Good comprehension & analytical skills.
Adaptability to learn new processes, concepts and skills and an eye for detail.
