Job Description

Component Quality Assurance Engineer

Proficiency in use of measuring instruments such as Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, and material test equipment.
Ability to read and prepare detailed manufacturing drawings.
Strong understanding of fits and tolerances.
Good communication skills in English.
Good knowledge of MS Office tools.
1-3 years of experience in inspection of plastic or rubber components
Must be located in commutable distance to Bommasandra Bengaluru, Karnataka, India

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in inspection of plastic and rubber parts using Verniers and Micrometers.
Experience in reading and preparing Manufacturing drawings
Earlier experience in the fluid sealing industry.
Comfortable commuting to the job's location.

Required Skills:

Strong understanding of mechanical/electronic components, BOMs, and quality standards
Proficiency in using measuring instruments, inspection tools, and quality control systems
Working knowledge of GD&T, PCB/component testing, IPC standards (preferred)
Familiarity with quality tools like 5 Whys, 8D, Fishbone Diagram, FMEA, PPAP, SPC, MSA
Basic knowledge of ERP or QMS systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) is an advantage
Good communication, documentation, and report-writing skills
