Job Description
Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management
-
Maintain and update accurate stock records of sarees across all boutique branches.

Monitor warehouse inventory and ensure timely replenishment to outlets.
-
Track goods movement between warehouse, stockrooms, and display areas.
-
Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile physical stock with system records.

Barcode Generation & Item Tracking
-
Generate and print barcodes for new stock arrivals.
-
Ensure correct tagging of sarees before placing them in display or storage.
-
Use inventory software to track each item’s location and status.
-

Accounts Maintenance
-
Maintain purchase records, stock valuation reports, and branch-wise inventory accounts.
-
Record all inward and outward stock transactions in the accounting system.
-
Assist in preparing monthly stock reports, profit/loss statements, and other relevant MIS reports.

Data Entry & Software Operations
-
Operate inventory/accounting software to update stock data promptly.
-
Ensure accuracy in all data entries related to product codes, quantities, and pricing.
-
Back up inventory records regularly to avoid data loss.
-

Coordination & Communication
-
Coordinate with branch managers for stock requirements and transfers.
-
Communicate with suppliers for purchase follow-ups, if required.
-
Liaise with the warehouse team for stock movement and damage/loss reporting.

Quality & Compliance
-
Ensure proper handling and storage of sarees to maintain quality.
-
Follow company guidelines for stock documentation and accounting practices.

Assist in audit preparations by providing accurate inventory records.

Required Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills:
-
Proficiency in inventory/accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Inventory, or similar).

Good MS Excel knowledge for report generation.

Core Skills:

Accuracy in data entry and attention to detail.

Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities.
-
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.

Good communication skills for inter-branch coordination.
