Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Data Entry and Data Management
-
Accurately input data into various software systems, databases, and spreadsheets from source documents such as forms, applications, invoices, or reports.

Update, verify, and correct data as necessary to maintain data quality and integrity.

Enter large volumes of data while meeting established deadlines and maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Organize and maintain electronic and paper files for data records, ensuring they are properly labeled and stored.
Computer Operation
-
Operate standard office equipment including computers, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.

Monitor and run data processing tasks or software tools as instructed.
-
Generate standard reports from databases or spreadsheets for review by supervisors or other departments.

Assist in testing or updating software applications as required for data management tasks.
Quality Control and Verification

Cross-check data entries for errors or inconsistencies using built-in validation tools or manual review processes.

Identify and report any data quality issues, gaps, or inconsistencies to the supervisor or IT team.

Perform data cleansing or formatting as required for reporting and analysis.
Support and Coordination
-
Assist various departments by providing requested data, reports, or summaries in a timely and accurate manner.

Respond promptly to internal data requests or queries via email, phone, or direct communication.

Coordinate with team members to ensure consistent practices in data entry and file management.

Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive data responsibly.
System Maintenance and Documentation

Maintain records of work completed, including data logs, audit trails, and system usage logs.

Assist in maintaining and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs) for data entry tasks.

Perform routine backups of critical data and ensure compliance with data protection standards.

Keep software and hardware updated in coordination with the IT department.
