Job Summary
We are looking for a Computer Teacher to join our computer training institute and play a key role in delivering quality computer education to students. The ideal candidate must have at least one year of teaching experience in a similar environment and be confident in managing basic academic and administrative functions of a computer training centre.
This role involves teaching foundational to intermediate-level computer skills, handling daily batches of students, creating lesson plans, and assisting with centre operations when required. The candidate must be proficient in MS Office and basic programming languages like C and C++. Ability to handle different age groups (students, working professionals, or homemakers) is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
1. Classroom Teaching

Deliver interactive and effective classroom sessions on:

MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Internet & Email Usage

Basic Operating System and File Management
-
Basic Programming Languages (C, C++)

[Optional] Tally, HTML, Python, etc. (if qualified)

Ensure the syllabus is completed on time for each batch.

Provide additional help to students who need more attention.
2. Curriculum & Lesson Planning

Design lesson plans and teaching materials based on the course structure.

Prepare notes, practice exercises, and assignments for students.

Stay updated with the latest software versions and teaching techniques.
3. Student Management

Monitor student attendance and discipline in class.

Maintain records of student progress, assessments, and feedback.

Encourage students to complete practice assignments and prepare for certification (if applicable).
4. Lab Supervision & Hands-on Training
-
Guide students during practical computer sessions in the lab.
-
Help students troubleshoot common system and software issues.
-
Ensure all systems are in working condition before sessions.
5. Centre Support

Assist the Centre Head in managing daily training centre operations.
-
Handle batch scheduling, registration assistance, and student queries when required.

Support during internal/external events, workshops, or seminars.
6. Reporting & Feedback

Submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports regarding batch status, syllabus completion, and student performance.

Collect student feedback and share suggestions for improvement with the management.
Required Skills & Expertise
Technical Skills
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Sound knowledge of basic programming languages – C, C++

Comfortable teaching basic IT concepts (hardware/software, internet usage, antivirus, etc.)

Familiarity with typing tools, printing, and document formatting

Optional: Knowledge of Tally, HTML, Python, Java, or other vocational IT tools is an advantage

Ability to simplify technical concepts for students from non-technical backgrounds

Strong presentation and verbal communication skills

Confidence in managing a classroom independently
Administrative & Organizational

Good at maintaining batch schedules, student records, and lab coordination
