Job Description
- Planning lessons and activities that facilitate students' acquisition of basic and advanced computer skills.
- Instructing in a manner that develops students' confidence in their abilities.
- Observing and managing classroom dynamics.
- Invigilating and grading projects, quizzes, and examinations.
- Tracking and communicating students' advancement throughout the course.
- Ensuring that the computer laboratory remains free from food and drink at all times.
- Downloading important software updates and maintaining hardware.
- Attending parent-teacher and faculty conferences.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Curriculum Delivery:

Design, plan, and implement lessons that align with the curriculum and grade level.

Teach fundamental concepts such as operating systems, word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, internet usage, email communication, and typing skills.

Instruct students in basic programming languages (such as HTML, Python, Java, or Scratch), depending on the age group and syllabus.

Explain the use of different software and applications, including educational tools, productivity software, and basic graphic design tools.

Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students’ varying needs and interests.
2. Classroom Management:

Maintain a positive, organized, and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.

Manage the behavior of students during class time to ensure a respectful and focused atmosphere.

Encourage student participation and engagement through interactive teaching techniques.

Enforce school rules regarding conduct, attendance, and academic integrity.
3. Practical Application and Assessment:

Conduct hands-on lab sessions to allow students to apply theoretical knowledge.

Guide students through practical assignments, projects, and exercises.

Develop and administer quizzes, tests, and projects to evaluate student progress.

Provide constructive feedback and assist students in improving their performance.
4. Technical Support and Lab Maintenance:

Ensure all computers and software in the lab are functioning properly.

Report technical issues to the IT department and follow up until resolution.

Install and update educational software or teaching tools as needed.

Monitor and maintain safety protocols in the computer lab environment.
5. Digital Literacy and Safety:

Teach students about internet safety, cyberbullying, data privacy, and responsible digital behavior.

Educate students about ethical issues in technology, such as plagiarism, copyright, and digital footprints.

Encourage awareness of emerging technologies and how they impact personal and professional life.
6. Student Support and Guidance:

Identify students who need extra help and offer additional support or tutoring as necessary.
