Job Description
Introduction
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Construction Site Supervisor to manage daily operations at our construction sites. The ideal candidate will coordinate workers, oversee on-site activities, ensure safety compliance, maintain quality standards, and monitor project progress. This role requires strong leadership skills, problem-solving abilities, and hands-on construction experience to ensure timely project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
1. Site Management & Supervision

Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities to ensure smooth workflow.

Allocate work to labourers, subcontractors, and technicians as per project plans.

Ensure daily tasks are executed as per drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Monitor manpower, materials, and machinery usage for optimum efficiency.
2. Project Coordination
-
Coordinate with the Project Manager, Engineers, and Contractors to ensure deadlines are met.

Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly work schedules.

Follow up on material procurement and availability to avoid delays.

Update higher management about site progress, issues, and requirements.
3. Quality Control & Inspection

Ensure all construction activities meet quality and safety standards.

Inspect ongoing work and rectify defects or deviations immediately.

Verify proper usage of construction materials according to specifications.

Conduct regular checks on completed work before final approvals.
4. Safety & Compliance
-
Enforce safety rules, regulations, and PPE usage at the site.

Identify hazards and take corrective actions to prevent accidents.

Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings for workers regularly.

Ensure compliance with local laws, permits, and environmental regulations.
5. Reporting & Documentation

Maintain accurate daily site reports, work progress, and manpower records.

Track material usage, stock levels, and equipment maintenance.

Submit reports to the Project Manager and highlight potential risks or delays.

Keep records of inspections, approvals, and site instructions.
Skills & Competencies
-
In-depth understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and methods.

Strong knowledge of material management and labour handling.

Familiarity with MS Office, AutoCAD, and project tracking tools is an advantage.

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Ability to manage deadlines and handle on-site challenges effectively.
