Consultant Job in NIAB at Hyderabad

Advertisement for Consultant (Part time) Applications are invited for the position of part – time Consultant on Contractual Basis at National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB), Hyderabad as per the following details. 

One position of Consultant (part time) 

Qualification & Experience: A Bachelor’s Degree in Science with preferably Life science / Instrumentation with consulting and coaching abilities and having an experience of installation, handling repair and maintenance of instruments used in scientific organizations in the capacity of Senior Official in Govt. or PSU / Autonomous bodies.

Preference would be given, if found equally suitable to others, to persons superannuated from the position of Technical / Instrumentation / Scientific Officer or higher and having functioned on position (s) in such Central Govt. or their equivalent in State Govt. / Autonomous bodies / PSUs with Pay Level 10 or above.

Age: Not exceeding 65 years.

Scope of work: 1. Assisting scientists in formulation of technical specifications and evaluation for procurement of instruments at NIAB. 2. Assisting in installation, commissioning, in house repair and maintenance of instruments. 3. To train and develop technical staff involved in instrumentation.

Emoluments: 1. Fixed emoluments between Rs. 25,000/- to 40,000/-as per qualifications and experience as recommended (considering the qualification and profile of experience vis-à-vis expected duties) by the Committee and accepted by the Competent Authority.
