1. Place of duty: ICMR-National Centre for Disease Informatics and Research, Bengaluru. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions, option for work from home will be exercised from time to time for a limited period.
2. ‘Development of situational assessment report for Childhood Cancer Care Services in India’ at ICMR-NCDIR, Bengaluru – funded by WHO. (Upto 31-10-2021)
3. Name of the post: Consultant (Medical) Full Time )
4. Number of vacancies and reservation: 1 (UR)
5. Consolidated salary per month: Up to Rs. 1,00,000 (Based on experience and knowledge the emolument will be fixed )
6. Essential Qualification and experience:
a. MD/DNB in General Medicine/Pediatrics/Pathology/C ommunity Medicine with one year of work experience in clinical services/public health system/ research and development after obtaining the degree. OR
b. DCH/DPH with two years of work experience in clinical services/public health system/ research and development after obtaining the degree. OR
c. MBBS with four years of experience in clinical services/public health system in research and development after obtaining the degree.
7. Desirable Qualification and experience: Additional qualifications of MPH/Masters in Epidemiology/Certificate training course in public health systems/pediatrics oncology Work experience in supervision and coordination of health systems/cancer - related projects. Knowledge of basic statistics and experience with handling datasets Good writing and communication skills.
8. Job description:
a. Literature search relevant for undertaking the study
b. Develop study tools
c. Study monitoring and coordination and liaise with stakeholders.
d. Support data cleaning and analysis Writing of report and study related write up.
