Responsibilities
- Implementation of environment, Health& safety management system across the site.
- Ensuring rigid safety practice in the site.
- Expertise in devising significant solutions for maintaining sound safety environment with proficiency in the implementation and maintenance of quality standards.
- Co coordinating and supporting in implementing the corporate EHS system.
- Deft in ensuring sound Health, Safety and Environment conditions with sound knowledge of standard engineering principle & practices for HSE Management
- Adroit in monitoring & supporting ongoing projects for HSE performance improvement, through site inspection, updating procedures, developing new procedures, action plan, training, conducting meetings, auditing, etc.
- Possesses in-depth understanding of various safety methods; proven abilities in coordinating / leading variety of people and projects.
- Handling of hazardous waste management.
- Preparation of training Modules.
- Preparation of yearly planner and track the compliance.
- Conducting safety committee meeting.
- Investigating accident /incident and suggesting CAPA
- Prior experience in working as EHS person in manufacturing or IT industries
- Post-graduation in EHS Management/Science or Engineering
- Familiarity with country specific EHS regulatory requirements
- Familiarity with requirements of NBC and NFPA
- Conversant with ISO 14001 and ISO 45000 standards
- Master’s degree in Process Engineering/Chemical Engineering/EHS or related discipline
- 2-4 years of Industry/Consultancy (Process/Chemical and/or Oil & Gas sectors) experience, including successfully managing projects and teams on Process Safety/Risks
- Previous experience working with multi-disciplinary teams in a consultancy environment
- Strong background in conducting Technical and Process Risk Assessment/QRA/HAZOP-HAZID Chairman and providing advice to private sector and government clients
- Practical knowledge and understanding of quantitative analysis tools and techniques and their application for Process Risk Analysis/management
- Excellent report writing skills. Fluency in both written and spoken English is a fundamental requirement. Candidate should also include fluency in other Indian languages.
- Willingness to travel, including field work exceeding 2 weeks
- Well-developed teambuilding and influencing skills; unquestioned integrity; and the experience, confidence, and stature to effectively address client and business needs and challenges
