Consultants job recruitment in IGNOU (Full-time/Part-time, contractual)
Discipline of Mathematics, one in each of the following areas: 1. Image Processing and Pattern Recognition 2. Computer Graphics 3. Design and Analysis of Algorithms 4. Coding Theory 5. Graph Theory
Essential: 1. M.Tech in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering or Ph.D. in Mathematics/ Computer Science (with specialization in area concerned)
2. Minimum three years experience of research/teaching/industry in the area concerned.
Desirable qualifications for each of the areas 1) to 5) above are given below: 1) Image Processing and Pattern Recognition: Knowledge of Sci-Lab with Image Processing Toolbox 2) Computer Graphics: Proficiency in OpenGL programming using C 3) Design and Analysis of Algorithms: Good understanding of Mathematics related to Graph Theoretical algorithms. 4) Coding Theory: Good understanding of Algebraic Coding Theory in the case of M.Tech Candidates and experience in implementing algorithms of Coding Theory in C language. 5) Graph Theory: Programming experience in Graph Theoretic Algorithms
