Job Description
Working across channels and formats, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and delivering engaging and informative content in a timely and consistent manner. You will also be involved in organizing and managing events, such as townhalls, webinars, conferences, and technical expos. To be successful in this role, you should have excellent writing and editing skills, tons of creativity, the eagerness to infuse innovative ideas as well as a keen
understanding of the latest trends and technologies in the tech and/or auto industries.
Responsibilities:
ï· You will create and implement strategic communication plans that align with business objectives and initiatives and ensures consistent messaging across all channels such that teams are aware, engaged and inspired. This will include working closely with multiple stakeholders and teams across the organisation, requiring strong business understanding and knowledge of tech and/or auto domains.
ï· You will write, edit, and produce clear, concise, and compelling content for different audiences and platforms, across a range of formats including announcements, intranet articles, newsletters, presentations, videos, infographics and more, that will help simplify the complex and articulate the vision, progress, and impact of the verticalâs initiatives.
ï· You will translate technical concepts into accessible, compelling stories that highlight the value and impact of the verticalâs projects.
ï· You will collaborate with HR and leadership teams to build trust and support the adoption of new processes and practices through effective communication. You will draft presentations, talking points, and updates for the leadership team members to communicate with internal audiences.
ï· You will design and execute multi-channel communication campaigns, including execution of large-format physical / hybrid events to support strategic priorities and engage target stakeholders.
ï· You will establish and maintain feedback channels to gather insights and address concerns from stakeholders, ensuring continuous improvement in communication efforts.
ï· You will monitor and analyse the impact and effectiveness of communication activities and discover areas for improvement and innovation with communication tools and technologies.
Qualifications:
ï· Bachelorâs or masterâs degree in technology, engineering, communications, marketing, or related fields.
ï· Excellent writing, editing and storytelling skills, with keen attention to detail and grammar. Solid understanding and interest in technology is a pre-requisite. At least 3+ years of working experience in corporate or internal communications of large or matrixed organizations, preferably in a technology or IT environment.
ï· Strong understanding of tech concepts, systems and trends.
ï· Familiarity with the latest communication channels and platforms, such as web, email, social media, or video, with a fearlessly innovative approach to experiment with new tech tools. Experience in managing large-format events like townhalls would be necessary.
ï· Knowledge of SEO, analytics, and content management tools.
ï· Strong presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate and influence effectively with different audiences and stakeholders.
ï· Highly adaptable to a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with the ability to prioritize and
multitask.
ï· Self-starter, results-oriented, ability to think on the feet in a high-visibility, multi-tasking
environment.
