Purpose of the Role:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Content Writer to develop content for print, digital, and social media platforms. You will collaborate with our inhouse technical experts and provide business and industry relevant content in the field of cybersecurity.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Research markets and industries to create content that is innovative and original.
- Analyze information from multiple sources (SME, Offline, Online).
- Create crisp, concise and compelling content based on the project brief and data gathered through research.
- Adhere to quality guidelines and create plagiarism-free content.
- Collaborate closely with internal technical experts and leadership team for delivering high quality marketing content on various platforms such as website, blogs, articles, reports etc.
- Deliver content in alternate media forms for maximum usability, with a consistent and cohesive voice across all documentation
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in English, Journalism, or Communications.
- Preferred technical educational background.
- 3+ years of professional writing experience, especially with digital platforms
- Exposure to content writing for IT/Software products & solutions. Past exposure to cybersecurity experience is highly preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Good communication and Interpersonal skills.
- Excellent grammar and writing skills.
- Familiarity with keyword placement and SEO.
- Portfolio of published work.
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
- Self-motivated and self-directed.
- Experience working in a product/ service based environment.
- Ability to collaborate and extract technical information from multiple points.
