Contract Engineer Jobs Opening in KSV Construction at Saidapet, Chennai

Job Description

1.       Study the contracts to understand key terms and conditions and prepare contract gist. Ensure compliance of contract terms based on the gist from start to finish of the project.  Ensure all contract documents are signed off and documented between clients and contractor.

2.       Contract Billing:

a.       Single point of contact for coordination from bill preparation, submission, certification

b.       Coordinate with accounts for submission and extension of advance/performance/retention bank guarantees

c.       Set targets for monthly billing for all sites and submit to management. Review and collect billing from Site and update monthly tracker and update Management.

d.       Check measurements and bills submitted by Site. Verify contract compliance using checklists/gist. Coordinate internally with accounts and management for sign-off. Compile bill submission documents. Review and reconcile Invoices and Payment with accounts and taxation.

e.       Review client bill certificates and prepare deviation statement.

3.       Preparation of rate analysis for additional items of works. Coordinate with architect/clients for approval.

4.       Study procedure for contract closure and prepare checklist/gist. Ensure documentation is maintained at site, such as handing over list, snags report, final bill certification, completion certificate, etc as prescribed in the contract document. Understand Contract closure procedures for final billing, retention and bank guarantees along with other documentation to be submitted for closure.

5.       Preparation of weekly and monthly MIS Reports.

6.       Ensure proper filing and documentation of the Contracts department.
