Position Summary

Evolent Health is looking for a Learning and Development Coordinator. This individual will play a critical role in executing Evolent Health’s mission by successfully coordinating the management and logistics of the enterprise learning management system(LMS) and a wide variety of learning and development programs that foster professional and career development. This includes training classes, team building experiences, department-specific and cross-functional development programs, as well as organizational development initiatives. This role supports the management of the enterprise learning management system(LMS) and the logistical activities that ensure development experiences, large and small, go off without a hitch for both participants as well as the trainers, facilitators, and coaches delivering them.

Working closely with the other members of the Learning & Development team, trainers, facilitators, coaches, corporate business operations, as well as department managers, the coordinator ensures the planning associated with learning activities are managed within time, within budget, and to desired quality standards while adhering to team and company policies, practices and processes. The coordinator ensures credibility, rapport and effective communication occurs in all relationships, creating a positive impression for employees of their professional and career development experiences at Evolent.

Essential Functions
  • Serve as the Primary Support in the ongoing maintenance of LMS content, system configuration, issue resolution, and utilization (enhancing upon existing tools and processes)
  • Serve as a support in configuration of LMS automation for company-wide compliance e-learning courses and other automated assignments at a large complex scale
  • Collaborate with various teams and leaders to advise on use of LMS as a technology to support training needs company-wide
  • Manage the email ticketing system for the learning team inbox to support general inquiries and technical questions from all employees globally
  • Serve as the primary scheduler and communication liaison with all trainers, facilitators, and with employees, utilizing a Learning Management System(LMS) as the primary tool to capture and share information
  • Partner with training facilitators to ensure that learning technologies are deployed appropriately and effectively for delivery of courses
  • Ensure all relevant course-related information is uploaded into the Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Produce and deliver reports on a consistent basis, including reports on course enrollment, budget spend, participant satisfaction, facilitator, utilization, etc.
  • Analyze reports for the purpose of tracking and trending performance and to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Maintain administrative documentation, including but not limited to training agendas and attendance sheets to demonstrate trainee compliance with department requirements
  • Participate in project workgroups and meetings
  • Support internal event planning and preparation
  • Other duties as required

The Experience You Need (required)

1 - 2 years of experience utilizing Cornerstone OnDemand, our enterprise LMS

Comfortable using a variety of communication methods, experience communicating progress and results to leadership teams supporting employee inquiries and issue resolution globally through a variety of communication methods, especially written/email communication.

1-3 years of experience coordinating individual training sessions as well as an overall portfolio or curriculum of classes, team building events, and learning programs

3+ years of operational execution responsibility

Presentation Experience, minimum 1 year

Highly proficient with MS Windows and Office Programs, especially Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

Ability to learn computer software system(primarily LMS) and use software to perform job

Collaborative working style with the ability to work across different organizations and personalities

Finishing Touches (Preferred)

Training and Development Certification

Ability to translate complex concepts into easily understood stories and tactical plans

Experience with project management

History of superior performance across various educational and professional settings

Ability to multitask, prioritize, adapt to change, work well under pressure in an entrepreneurial environment, and manage a project from start to finish
