Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Acquisition:
-
Approach prospective customers in corporate zones, business hubs, IT parks, markets, and public areas to promote savings account products.

Identify and contact individuals, self-employed professionals, and salaried employees for account opening.

Focus on zero balance savings accounts and other promotional schemes as per the bank’s offering.
-
Organize and participate in on-ground marketing activities like kiosk setups, camps, and building tie-ups.
2. Field Sales and Outreach:
-
Conduct regular field visits to meet daily and monthly acquisition targets.

Maintain a list of prospective leads and systematically convert them into customers.

Engage with corporate HRs, facility managers, and business owners to gain access to employee or customer networks.

Pitch banking products confidently to walk-in clients, passersby, and referrals.
3. Account Opening Process:
-
Collect and verify necessary KYC documents (PAN, Aadhaar, etc.) from new clients.
-
Fill account opening forms (physical or digital) and ensure complete and accurate information is submitted.

Assist customers in completing biometric verification or e-KYC if applicable.
-
Coordinate with back-office and operations teams to ensure timely activation of accounts.
4. Product Promotion:
-
Promote additional banking products like debit cards, internet banking, mobile banking apps, and SMS alerts during account opening.

Cross-sell value-added services such as bill payment facilities, wallet integrations, or overdraft protection (if available).

Educate customers about account features, benefits, and usage to encourage activation and usage.
5. Reporting and Compliance:

Maintain a daily activity sheet detailing visits, leads generated, follow-ups, and conversions.

Submit reports to the Branch Manager or Sales Head for performance tracking.

Ensure strict adherence to KYC norms, bank policies, and compliance requirements.

Maintain customer confidentiality and ethical standards at all times.
